The goal of our Common Ground Project is simple:

"To grow food and give it away to those in need"

This was inspired by the fact that many agricultural workers grow vegetables for the benefit of others but can not afford to purchase them for their own families.  Thanks to a grant from the Episcopal Ministries of Long Island, the generosity of Treiber Farms and the hard work of a dedicated group of volunteers, we are cultivating a quarter-acre plot of land on 38320 Country Road 48 (Sound Ave) in Peconic ( along side the iconic Dodge truck with the giant American flag.)

Our garden is open to volunteers and anyone would be interested in “adopting a bed”.
